NZ Market Manager – Marketing/Account mgmt/Operations

Conscious Consumers is a purpose-driven technology startup looking to change the world for the better. We are currently launching our innovative product here and in the UK, under a new brand - CoGo.

We’re looking for a special kind of person to manage CoGo in the New Zealand market, working with our Wellington and London teams. This will be an intermediate-level hands-on role with heaps of potential for a fast learner with broad talents.

You will be running marketing and communications to our users, account managing our clients (both big and small), and administering our business accreditation process.

You will need to be up for a fast-paced, high-energy start-up, and you’ll need to be 110% committed to the role and our social/environmental mission.

What is the role really about?

  • Account manage our existing NZ customers – these are mostly small retail businesses, but also include a handful of big brands

  • Manage our NZ consumer user base, primarily through email, web and social media communications

  • Deliver marketing campaigns or projects, generally for our larger customers

  • Handle inbound communications and queries

  • Support our product team in ensuring our product is working well for NZ audiences

What are we looking for?

  • You can plan and execute marketing communications across a range of channels, particularly email and social media

  • You have successfully supported or account managed small businesses, and ideally big brands too

  • You have experience running social media channels for an organisation

  • You can write well, particularly for social media and email

  • Ideally, you have experiencing working with data, analytics, and reporting for digital products

  • You have been successful making things happen in a small, fast moving, team

  • Ideally, you also have experience running digital projects or campaigns for large brands

  • This is a full-time permanent role, and we're happy to explore flexible hours to better fit your life.

  • The salary is $60-80k, depending on experience.

  • We'd like this role to start as soon as possible.

  • You need to be already eligible to work here in NZ and have a work permit.

  • This role reports to our Chief Operating Officer, and is based in our Wellington headquarters.
